With over 20 years of experience in the life sciences industry, Jeff Hall, PhD is currently the Vice President of Clinical Education at Genoptix, a division of Novartis. He spends most of his time interacting with physicians, working to get Genoptix' cutting edge hematopathology services in the hands of the oncologists and pathologists whose patients will benefit from the state of the art testing services and reports which Genoptix offers. Dr. Hall holds a B.A. in Biology and Chemistry from U.C. Santa Cruz and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from U.C. Berkeley. Dr Hall was the first author on the landmark 1990 Science paper describing the location of BRCA I on chromosome 17q. Prior to joining Genoptix, Dr. Hall was Vice President of Genomics at PPGx in La Jolla. While there, he was responsible for running three laboratory genetics groups in the United States and Europe. Dr. Hall also worked at Axys Pharmaceuticals in 1998 as Senior Director of Genomics and from 1996 to 1997 at Sequana Therapeutics as Director of Genetics.
